While Buy Now Pay Later options are convenient, they are also very expensive due to very high interest rates when seeking payment terms over 2 months. In order to help avoid getting into debt over a trip, we are offering the option to pay for your Quest in 4 Interest Free Monthly Installments. A Traveler is required to pay a 25% down payment per person per booking to be confirmed on a Quest followed by 3 monthly payments of 25% each. Please refer to our Booking Terms and Conditions for stipulations on the Down Payment, Confirmation, Scheduled Payments, Cancellation, and Refund.
Because we need to book lodging and the Puy du Fou park and in some instances pay for reservations, the deadline to reserve your spot and pay your Down Payment is November 10, 2024. Please keep in mind however that we can ONLY take 16 Paravellians along, so it is possible that the Quest will be sold out before the deadline of November 10.
Please read the Booking Terms and Conditions very carefully, along with the Company's Privacy Policy. They collectively form an Agreement that is a legally binding contract between you and Paravelle LLC.
We will arrange for private transportation starting the morning of May 17, 2025 with a comfortable 20-passenger van and a dedicated chauffeur for the entire week.
The Quest is community-oriented. Paravellians sharing the same interests going together on an adventure. Come with a partner or friend, or pair up with a community member on our discord channel or during any one of our community events. By default, accommodations are for two people per room, otherwise cost would be prohibitive. In Paris, the first two nights and the last night of the Quest are in a 5-Star hotel in double occupancy with either two twins or a double bed. During our first private castle stay, there is a possibility that a couple of large bedrooms may be for 3 persons (3 beds) occupancy. During our second private castle stay, we will have 9 bedrooms in double occupancy with either twins or a double bed and a total of 6 bathrooms.
If you have genuine extenuating circumstances and must absolutely have a single room, you will have the option to select an add-on for an additional cost of $1,700 and will be placed on a Waitlist (your spot will not be confirmed and you will not be charged). We will try our best to possibly accommodate one or two single occupancy rooms but only if the Quest is not sold out in double occupancy and we cannot make any guarantees.
Please use our Contact Us form for specific questions about your booking. General conversation about the Quest will happen on our discord channel (link). In addition, 30 days before the trip we will invite all travelers to join a video call with your Host and your Guide. During the trip, you can direct any questions or concerns to your Guide.
Apple Pay and other digital wallets as well as all credit and debit cards are accepted everywhere but you might want to have some Euros in cash if you’d like to buy souvenirs or a magazine from a street kiosk.Gratuity is included in the restaurant bill, therefore tipping is not required or expected in customer/food service in France, although you are welcome to leave 1-2 euros if you are happy with the experience.
Paris is generally very safe, but of course like many big cities you need to be aware of your surroundings especially in public transportation. The “problem areas” for tourists are near and in the Metro for pickpocketing and tourist hotspots like the Louvre and the Eiffel Tower.
Tap water in France is safe for drinking and meets all EU regulations for potable water quality standards. The word 'potable' means drinkable in both English and French. Don't drink from any fountain that says 'eau non potable', as that means 'water not potable' (water not safe for drinking).
You can find all kinds of food in France, but it tends to be more difficult than in the US to find gluten free and lactose free options. However we will try to accommodate dietary restrictions the best we can.
Each traveler can bring one suitcase of a maximum weight of 50 lbs and dimensions of 30” x 18” x 10” and a personal item such as a handbag or backpack. No additional luggage will be permitted as space is limited.
